Pole Position Raceway is America’s #1 chain of indoor kart tracks. Created for racers, by racers, the Pole Position Raceway experience was developed with help from such well-known names in the racing world as 2004 NASCAR champion Kurt Busch, 7-time AMA Supercross champion Jeremy McGrath and X-Games freestyle gold medalist Mike Metzger. With locations in Jersey City, NJ and Syracuse, Buffalo, Long Island and Rochester, NY, Pole Position Raceway’s state-of-the-art racing facilities feature quarter-mile tracks, the latest in high-performance, all-electric, emission-free indoor karts capable of speeds of 45 MPH, arcade games and space for private parties or corporate events.
Pole Position Raceway opened its Jersey City, NJ doors in December 2010, and expanded in the Northeast with the addition of its Destiny USA location in Syracuse, NY, in October 2012. Pole Position Raceway opened its third Northeast location in Buffalo, NY at Walden Galleria in 2013, Long Island, NY and Rochester, NY at The Marketplace Mall in 2014, and coming soon to Savannah, GA in December 2014.
One of the fastest growing forms of family entertainment in the country, this unique entertainment experience allows up to 10 drivers at a time to compete in side-by-side racing action on each track. Best of all, the karts use electric technology so there are no fumes. Offering a variety of racing options to suit the needs of all racers – from families, to die hard karting enthusiasts – Pole Position Raceway features adult karts for racers who are at least 58 inches tall and separate junior karts for kids who are at least 48 inches tall.
Pole Position Raceway offers refreshments and snacks at its Tailgate Café and features memorabilia from famous NASCAR, Motocross and Grand Prix notables along with video/arcade games, meeting and party rooms. The facility caters to personal celebrations including birthday parties, bachelor parties, Bar-Mitzvah's; corporate events including team building, product launches and company meetings and area tourists.
