strengths of both the vines and the site. Long sunny days and cool nights further
contribute to our intense aromatics and crisp acidity. By utilizing multiple clones,
rootstocks and soil types, we are able to select for and effectively capture the
essence of every growing season.
Not being at the mercy of others has its advantages, and our estate grown fruit is
the key to our consistency in the wine cellar. Delivering grapes to the winery at
the peak of ripeness, and processing them within minutes of harvest, allows for
the perfect Preservation of each of our varietals with minimum intervention.
Additionally, our 30,000 gallons of stainless steel tanks and 24,000 gallons of oak
barrels allow us to keep each lot separate to provide for maximum vineyard
expression and complexity in each of our wines.
Owners Mark Wagner and Josh Wig both come from fruit growing families and rely
on over 75 years of combined sustainable farming experience. Their dedication,
commitment to quality and attention to detail, in both the vineyard and the cellar,
insures that each lamoreaux Landing wine is as natural and fresh as possible.
