The ½ day trip on the French Broad River offers wide, open channels, beautiful mountain vistas, and fun splashy class II and III rapids. On this trip we will stop at to take a leap into the river at “jump rock” and swim at “swimmers rapid”. There is plenty of fun to be had on this ½ day trip for all ages! We also offer this same ½ day trip with lunch.
A full day with lunch is an excellent way to experience all that the French Broad has to offer. Our full day with lunch includes the 5 ½ mile half day section with class II, III rapids as well as an extra 3 miles that includes an additional class IV rapid, Frank Bell’s Rapid. During this trip, there will be plenty of time to swim, play, and relax as you make your way through the rapids. This trip includes a riverside picnic lunch.
