Year-round exhibits include Bubbleology, Discovery Island (exclusively for kids ages 5 & under), Dark Science, and Da Vinci's Garage. The museum also hosts traveling exhibitions.
Since 2002 ScienceWorks has served over 535,000 visitors from all 50 states and around the world, including more than 110,000 school children from 9 counties and 22 school districts. Onsite Programs include afterschool engineering, themed science weekends, live science shows, adult science courses, and a field trip program and summer camps. Off-site programs include science teacher professional development, hands on activities at organizations such as Kids Unlimited and YMCAs, and portable exhibits for fairs and expos. While based in Ashland at its 27,000 sq foot museum facility, 75% of its visits come from outside of Ashland. It is a regional resource supporting science education for all of Southern Oregon and Northern California.
