Ye Olde Manor House is a boutique bed and breakfast with 8 guest rooms, all with en suite baths, and an indoor heated swimming pool. We have a satellite TV, DVD player, and movie library in our living room and atrium and the Manor Suite also has a DVD player. There are several indoor and outdoor spaces for our guests to enjoy. It is the perfect spot for short or long vacations, romantic getaways, weddings, family reunions, gatherings of friends, and retreats of all kinds. And, with over 30 years of experience with meeting and event planning, we can help you organize your meetings and retreats. Our goal is to help you have the most relaxing, enjoyable stay possible so that you can relax, renew and rejuvenate.
Our décor is a mixture of antiques and classic new pieces designed for comfort and elegance. Guests can swim indoors while listening to their favorite music, relax in the sun or shade on our landscaped three acres, play games, watch movies, and dine on a sumptuous breakfast. We provide a full gourmet breakfast every morning and will happily prepare gluten free, vegetarian and vegan meals upon request. The breakfast menu varies each day and has delicious options for you to select.
The adage that big things come in small packages is certainly true in the case of our town, Elkhorn, Wisconsin. Known as the Christmas card town after being featured on several Hallmark cards, Elkhorn is the county seat for Walworth County. As such it hosts several fun events including four antique fairs each summer, a county fair in the fall, and a number of other events such as classic car shows, dog shows, and horse shows, to name a few. The area has 9 and 18 hole golf courses, wonderful hiking, biking, and ski trails, an outdoor music venue, several terrific restaurants, antique shops, and lakes for water skiing jet skiing, kayaking, canoeing, and boating. The surrounding area is the perfect combination of small town quaintness and rural bucolic settings where you can see horses, cows, llamas, lambs, and several varieties of birds as you drive, bike or walk while taking in the sites. Elkhorn is conveniently located in southern Wisconsin, approximately 45 minutes from Milwaukee and Madison, 90 minutes from Chicago and 15 minutes from Lake Geneva.
