Creating a team with a wealth of experience working in the snowsports industry who all share a passion for snowsports or football and have a focus on giving excellent customer service.
Making improvements to the facility with new slope matting, lighting on the slopes, new dedicated tubing slope, dedicated birthday party and function rooms, introduction of a fantastic programme of lessons, new freestyle features, ski slope cabins, BASE equipment servicing workshop and Mountain Rental.
Producing a diverse programme of activities and a busy calendar of events for the year.
Working closely with local businesses Transition Extreme, Snowsports Shops, Local Ski Resorts - joint events with the aim of increasing customers and meeting their needs.
Working closely with local community groups, schools and universities - providing special sessions for them at great rates.
We offer lessons for all ages, birthday parties, equipment servicing, mountain rental, coached club sessions, holiday camps and so much more!
The staff at Aberdeen Snowsports Centre all love snowsports and are passionate and enthusiastic about helping others enjoy it too. Our qualified instructors have taught people to ski and snowboard all over the world and complete regular training to ensure you get the best tuition possible.
Our guys can regularly be found out on the slope even when they're not working, so you'll always find a friendly face to help you out.
Aberdeen Snowsports Centre operates under Garthdee Alpine Sports (GAS), which is a limited company and charity (SC037683) that was set up in 2006 by Aberdeen City Council to be an arms length NPDO with responsibility for management and operation on the football pitches and snow sport facilities in Garthdee.
GAS is governed by five founding Members who are:
Aberdeen City Council, Garthdee Community Council, Robert Gordon’s University, Snowsport Scotland, University of Aberdeen
GAS also works closely with SportScotland, British Association of Snowsport Instructors, Aberdeen Snowsport Club and British Ski & Snowboarding.
