Visitors can hear all of the castle's stories and history by taking a tour with one of our local volunteers or by taking an audio guide. Twelve fully furnished rooms are open to the public. Visitors can also spend some time in our exhibition about the Braemar Highland Games - do you know how to toss a caber? In 2015 the Castle will be celebrating its Jacobite connections with a brand new exhibition Jacobites: Braemar's Risings. See original documents and weaponry and learn about the cause that could have plunged Scotland into civil war.
