The Charleston Performing Arts Center is home to Charleston premier floor show and cabaret theatre! Located on James Island, just minutes from Downtown Charleston and Folly Beach, The Charleston Club produces six original dance musicals each year, multiple cabaret events, mainstream musicals, and special guest-artist events.
Our forte is original dance musicals which are developed and choreographed by Artistic Director, Kirk Sprinkles. These dance musicals feature our Showgirls, The Holy City Harlettes, who are accomplished and professional performers. Our professional vocalists are Broadway performers, or renowned performers from across the country. Our passion is to bring back the glamour of floor show entertainment as depicted in classic Hollywood films, we present classic and classy burlesque, novel and new musicals, and entertaining and enjoyable productions.
Our 64 seat cabaret theatre is intimate and welcoming. Once inside, you are transported to an era when supper clubs and floor show entertainment was "the top". When watching one of our productions, you won't just sit and watch action happening on stage; the entertainment happens all around you. Our signature Table Tootsies provide table-side service, serving beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages and sweet and savory snacks while completely in character. You'll be surrounded by lavish costumes and headdresses, choreography that delights, and singers who will get your toes tapping and your fingers snapping. And who knows, you may be coaxed into joining in the signing fun!
